Learn the workspace, finish a first task, and find help when you need it.

Kalamos brings writing and project work into one desktop workspace. If you are new, read the introduction, then follow one of the two complete starting guides. You do not need to read every chapter first.
Before you begin
- A Mac with an available Kalamos desktop build. These tutorials describe the desktop app.
- An available model connection. Writing needs a text model; file-based project work also needs tool support and directory permission.
- A few notes you can use, or a separate folder containing copies of the project materials.
Check download availability in the FAQ. If the website says the download is not open, these guides do not provide a separate installer.

When something goes wrong
Start with the symptom you can see: a disabled send button, a failed model connection, a missing draft, or an unreadable file. Each topic explains what to check and when to contact us.

Each tutorial gives you a goal, preparation, a sequence of actions, and checks for the result. Example inputs are practice material, not records of model-generated results. Replace them with your own facts when doing real work.
The visible controls and available models depend on your installed version and connected service. If your screen differs, use the chapter on troubleshooting before changing settings at random.
