Copy Library
Keep a useful version, make deliberate edits, and find it again.

On a workshop output or supported conversation answer, use Save to copy library. Check that you are saving the desired version.
Check the saved item
Open Copy library and select the item. Read the saved title and body; a success message alone does not tell you whether you chose the right version.
Draft state and library membership are separate. Removing an item from the library through the workshop can leave it as a draft; this is different from deleting a library document. Read the action’s confirmation.
Edit a saved document
Open a document
Select an item in the library list to open its title and body.
Make the edit
Edit the title or body. An unsaved-change indicator means you still need to keep the modification.
Save and reopen
Use Save and check for Saved. Leave the item and open it again to confirm the intended text.
If leaving triggers an unsaved-changes dialog, choose to keep editing or save and continue. Discarding drops the current edit. If saving fails, keep the page open and copy the important text before trying recovery.
Find the right item
Use Search copy to look for a title, tag, or platform. If an expected item is missing, clear the query and filters first, then check its status and archived view. A filtered empty list is not evidence that the document was deleted.
Use descriptive titles, such as “CSV tool experience — short draft,” so versions are easier to distinguish. Status labels such as Final or Published organize your work; selecting a label does not publish it externally.
Archive and delete
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Archive | Moves the item to an archived view while retaining it. Use this for work you do not need in the active list. |
| Delete | Removes the local document from the library. Read the confirmation and keep an independent copy if you may need it. |
Keep an independent copy
For important work, copy the title and body into a file you manage, or use an available export option and reopen the exported file. Check that the text and formatting you need are present.
A local saved item is not a cloud backup. Signing in on the web or another device does not automatically bring over desktop drafts and library contents.
