Meet Kalamos

Understand where to begin before learning every control.

What you can use it for

For writing, bring your notes or an existing draft and use a writing workflow to organize and revise it. For project work, select a folder and describe a result such as a small web page or a file-processing tool. You inspect and keep the useful result.

A model produces suggestions and may make mistakes. Kalamos provides the workspace and controls; it does not turn unsupported facts into reliable evidence or guarantee that generated files work.

Choose a mode

ModeBest starting point
ContentNotes, articles, rewriting, titles, and organizing saved copy.
WorkTasks involving a selected project folder, file changes, and tools.

Use the Content / Work switch near the app logo. Switching changes the workspace presentation; it does not itself authorize access to a folder or an operation. Choose a project and review permission requests separately.

Words you will see

TermMeaning
ModelThe AI service that processes a request. Text, tool use, image understanding, and image generation are different capabilities.
ContextMaterial available to the model for this request, such as relevant conversation text and explicitly selected references.
API connectionA connection to a provider using its address, model identifier, and credential. The credential is private.
Profile / IPYour background and expression preferences when you choose to reference a profile. Here IP means a content identity, not a network address.
CreditsThe usage unit for available Kalamos platform services. Personal API or subscription usage follows its own provider.
CTAWhat you want a reader to do after reading, such as save a checklist. It is optional when your piece needs no call to action.

Choose a first task

A good first task has a small input and a result you can check. Use a short set of notes for a draft, or a small CSV table for a project. Add more material only after the first path makes sense.
