The desktop app supports configured APIs and supported subscription sources. Use the model settings to check what is available and complete the relevant connection.

No automatic upload or merge is provided for desktop drafts, knowledge, or projects. Web account history is separate. Keep a copy of important local work.

No. A model request sends the selected prompt and context to the configured service. Review the material and selected source before sending.
Your data →Does saving publish an article?
Saving keeps a piece in your copy library. You still review it and publish to another platform yourself.
